Can i forfeit gratuity

Dear Sir

As per trems &conditions,employee has to give 3 months

notice at the time of resignstion or payment in lieu of notice period.  I have experinced that most of employee run away without giving notice or payment. now my question is  wheather can i deduct this  amoutfromgratuity?

No, at the time of appionment your agrre to sign terms and conditions, in that one of the condition, if you are releving as your wish you must give two months notice, aftr lapse of two months after giving notice regardiing voluntary retirement  your are reliving from service. This is the procedure adopted by the private concerns. So your gratuity cannot be forfeited.
