Can TRUSTS do micro-finance with "Public's Donation Funds" ?

Can a TRUST registered in Delhi do micro-financing with "Donation Funds" collected directly from Public?
We have established a charitable trust in Delhi,Can we indulge in micro financing in Delhi and Can we do this with the funds collected directly from public ? Do we need some separate Money lenders License for doing this? Please guide.

For what purpose trust is created. You have to follow it.

You cannot go beyond the trust purpose. You are not allowed to lend money. You are permitted to invest the trust money but not to do money lending. Trust is not for doing business.

Well to change the purpose of the trust created by you is in your hands still you can not do micro fianance even provided in trust deed without the prior permission for RBI who have framed special rules and procedures for the same.
