Clubbing of long term capital gains with taxable income

May i know whether the long term capital gains after indexation is added to the total income from other sources like rent, consultancy etc and taxed or i need to separately pay 20% on the capital gains..

I am a retired persons and doesn't have much income. The long term capital gains after indexation is about 4.8 L.

Thanks in advance.

1. Income from various other sources is NOT the same as Capital Gains Tax.  Hence file separately, more so specifically since no tax benefit can be claimed.
