D form alnd location

I HAVE D-FORM PATTA IN THE NAME OF MY GRANDMOTHER. SHE IS NO MORE. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE LAND IS LOCATED EXACTLY. HOW TO KNOW WHERE THE LAND IS? THE LAND IS ASSIGNED TO MY GRANDMOTHER IN THE YEAR 2000. HOW TO APPROACH ANYONE TO CLAIM THE LAND?

Carefully search the websites of agricultural land in your websites, and it is difficult to find. The chances of getting back are remote, as someone should have occupied long back. Ask her siblings where she was residing in 2000 and depending on the survey number in that area, you may get some clues from the office that issued the patta in your GM name.

THE AREA I KNOW BUT IT'S KIND OF URBANISED NOW..
THE SURVEY NUMBER AND 0LOT DETAILS ARE MENTIONED IN THE PATTA. CAN I APPROACH MRO OFFICE WITH THE PATTA?

You can approach the MRO office, and provide a copy of the patta, and can pay the surveying fees. The concerned surveyor may help you in finding and giving possession if you are having such a bonafide document that shows your exclusive entitlement. Your long journey commences with a small step and finding out the exact location, claiming possession, establishing your rights are too long to travel.
