immunity of lawyers

Is there any immunity to lawyers from civil and criminal cases.when i filed a petition against a lawyer police has not taken any action.They are not willing to take any action.what is the remedy available to me?

All are equal but some are more equal this is problem all over world but more in india.try your best which may be useful for others.

You have not posted the facts of your case without which t cannot be opined, what are your grounds to initiate action against the said lawyer.
