Inheritance laws

Dear All

I would like to know what would be the correct legal position in following case.

Father died 10 years before, without leaving behind any will. He left behind 02 houses made by himself during his lifetime. Father is survived by Mother and 06 children (04daughters and 02 sons). All children are adults (age between 35-47 years)

Does the property needs to be divided equally in 07 parts (mother and 06 children) or mother is free to give it to only her 02 sons?
