My complaint is for cheque return u/s 138 of negotiable instrument act and is pending for Trial. Recently with changes made in criminal act under BNS, do I request to convert my complaint under BNS from IPC, as as a complainant am I benefitted in BNS, kindly guide

There is no change in Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, hence neither there will be any special gains nor loss to the drawee of the cheque.
A crime under IPC was never before for transformation to BNS.

Changes in law will not make any effect on your case.

You have to continue the existing cases under the same provisions of law under which it was filed.
Besides, the NI act has not been modified or changed.
