As expected, my Employer has not paid Gratuity & it has been 3.5 months since my last working day with the organisation!
Now I want to pursue this legally. Company is a manufacturing firm & has its setup only in Mumbai with more than 60 employees. I have completed 4 years & 356 days with the employer (from 6th August 2014 to 27th July 2019).
Regarding Controlling Authority, I had visited the Labour Office in Pune for some clarification. The concerned Officer informed me that I have to file an application with Form 'N' at the Thane Labour Court. Assistant Labour Commissioner doesn't have any jurisdiction over Gratuity cases anymore.
