Markings on the face or picturized part of the Non-Judicial Stamp Papers.

Dear all esteemed members,

While preparing certain legal instruments , if we mistakenly type a few sentences or  print a few lines or make some markings  on the face or picturized part or impressed part of a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper, will it amount to cancellation of that particular piece of Stamp Paper? or will it be o.k?

I am looking forward to see all your valued opinion.

Right Elamran leave that part and re-type. Your intention will be clear in it.

Mr. Elamaran,

The writing which produces the insutrument often takes precedence in the matter of the understanding of the true meaning of the document.

At best you cut the sentences with ink by marking a straight line and on the last page of the document give a certificate that the line No xx of Page No yy has been cut and the registrar shall mark the same in red ink.

The customary solution to your problem.

With good wishes.

all suggestions are really very good....

this is just for your information... avoid using white ink on stamp paper..

In this situation you delete the sentences written in the printed part of stamp by making line of cut or cross word by word &to avoid future complications/objection all parties to the intstument should put their signatures on cancelled or crossed sentences.
