Hi All,
I belongs to Muslim community and recently my brother passed away. and I would like to adopt or wanted to be as a gurdian.
I will be living in Canada and wanted him to immigrate from India to Canada.
what is the procedure do so. Need help in this regards.

Dear Querist,
To my knowledge, there is no adoption in Islam. Shariat makes no provision for adoption. Though if there is a custom that governs your specific sect/caste that allows it - it may be permissible. As regards being a guardian you can always apply for being a guardian

thank you for your reply. what is the procedure to be as a gurdaian.. how much does it cost to me.
the main purpose is that I have to sponsor him to immigrate to Canada.
