resale apartment

Hi ,

There is an apartment with about 10 flats built on 2 grounds, each with a reasonable uds on paper, originally built as a joint venture with the land owner and the builder about 7 years bakc. The land owner too owns and lives there.

the confusion is this:

All the door numbers on the building are different from the ones on the documents( on the plan flats a, b, c appear as d, e and F). . for example, door No. C appears as door no. D on the original document,

this has happened to all the apartments in the building .  Apart fromt his the plan has not been changes ( except for the original number

The owners claim they have not been able to correct it. Also, the original street address of the building appears as 6/4 in some papers and as 7 in some others. the owners of the apartments claim that apart from the mix up on paper, nothing else is the problem, and when we buy it, the place can be registered under the new no. Also they are rreceiving bills as per the original door numbers and not as per the document ones.

Is there any issue with buying this property?

Also there is another flat with clean documents, but there is one flat on the top floor that is unapproved. Will that affect the entire building?

Thanks
