An NRI is selling land in his ancestral village.Deal tied up .
He was asked to produce ADHAAR card.Query is :- Is Adhaar card applicable to USA Immigrants who have gone to USA since last 30-35 years?
What all documents does he need for execution of sale of his village land? Land is in his name.His college friend is buying.I suppose there will not be any mistrust or bungling in this deal.
How does he transfer his sale proceeds to USA? As I know he has to deposit sale proceeds in NRO account and pay Indian tax and remaining he can take it to USA. what all formalities need to be done. Possibly a CA will have to be hired.
