Service bond dispute

Dear Sir/Ma'am

Currently i am working in Indian MNC in Mumbai. I have resigned on 20 June 2012. Actually I had signed service bond for five years (starting from the course) for current company as they had sponsored my MTech course. Mine commencement of Mtech course date was 24 July 2007. Mine date of joining in current company was 14 August 2009. Mine releieving date is 24 July 2012.

I have attached pages considering the clauses of bond extracted from my service bond.

With current releiving date the company is asking me to pay 50,000 Rs which as per bond is disputable.

Please Help

Regards

You are probably referring to clause 3. h.

Raise your dispute in writing under acknowledgment to the company personnel who have signed the bond and your appointing authority, MD, Company Secretary with a copy to Head-HR and demand a reply in writing.

Dear Mr. Kumar

Thanks for your reply. I will take forward this issue

Yes, I am referring to clause 2 and Clause 3h. As per clause 2, bond is valid upto 14 Aug 2012. But in the event of any breach, the clause 3h is applicable which as mentions commencement of course, Hence as per clause 3h bond is valid only upto 23 july 2012. That is the confusion. So i feel i will not have to pay any amount as i will be completing 60 months on 23 july 2012

Best Regards
