It is a well-settled principle of law that the maxim falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus (false in one thing, false in everything) is not applicable in India. In India this doctrine of falsus in uno falsus in omnibus does not apply. To the same effect is the decision in State of Punjab v. Jagir Singh (AIR 1973 SC 2407) and Lehna v. State of Haryana (2002 (3) SCC 76). advocate_lokhandwala@yahoo.com M : 09727000333

You have to take the grain from the chaff. If a man says a false hood does not mean that what ever he said is false. False in one thing does not mean that false in every thing not applicable to indian courts.
