sir sum1 hit my car while was standing on red light we hav car no v info 100 no file a complaint now police in converting that into fir u/s279 i cum 2 no in tat the will take my car also in their custody but i hav get it done repair my car and already file a claim 2 insurance co but not claim was realise
my query is if police take my car in custody as case property then wat is the procedure 2 get realize under superdari and where it has 2b file and wat doc along with the application is req any court fee etc is req. and wat is the formate for delhi

If police take your vehicle in custody. You would have to move release application in court. Court may impose certain condition while releasing the vehicle. Court may release the vehicle with sureties or without sureties. It requires nominal court fee tickets but if you seek help of advocate surely he will charge his fee.

A person can also defend his case and move his application without engaging a lawyer but sometime it is not advisable as in the present case.

in my opinion it is not required to take ur car in custody.

u can stand party and person but advocate have proper knowledge than ordinary person so it is better to defend by an advocate.
