please give your valueble opinion on one of case
Case details:
I am a private employee. I was working in Maharastra region in 2008-09, then I had taken a used bike from Mr. X. Vehicle got transfered on my name, but Insurance paper was renewed on the old owners name, and told me that from next renewal it will be done on my name.
From Maharastra, I was trasfered to Chattisgarh region. I got transfered the vehicle to Chattisgarh state. In March 2010 I met with a accident with a old man, drunkered. Later we died in the hospital after 2 days treatment. Then after a few days I again got transfered to New Delhi, presently I am New Delhi. I kept my collegues to be with the lawyer, whom I have contacted for the case.
Now, it was learnt that the case had come to an end, but.....
since at the time of accident the Insurance paper was not in my name case has become complicated. Insurance doen'nt pay the compensation and what ever compensation to be paid to the deceased family has to be paid from my pocket.
In this regard I request some one to give me a perfect legal opinion on this. I am very much disturbed by this.

1. ON THE DATE OF RENEWAL IN WHOSE NAME VEHICLE WAS STAND IN RTO?
2. WHEN VEHICLE WAS TRANSFERRED IN YOUR NAME IN RTO?
2. ON RENEWAL WHETHER YOU HAVE INFORMED THE COMPANY TO CHANGE THE NAME OF OWNER AS PER RTO RECORD?
4. ON DATE OF ACCIDENT WHETHER VEHICLE WAS DULY INSURED AND HOW YOU HAVE PAID THE PREMIUM CASH OR CHEQUE?
5. WHAT DEFENSE INSURANCE COMPANY HAVE TAKEN IN COURT?
6. HAVE YOU PRODUCED THE PREMIUM RECEIPT OF POLICY COVER DATE OF ACCIDENT?
PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION TO HELP YOU OUT.
