Adaption of child

Dear Experts,
if a parents as 1 child & it is 10years old,now can a parent adpot a child of 1year or 2years etc.

what are doc & formalities needed

Please visit the provisions of the Indian adoption Act/Hindu Adoption act.

No, if you already have a son then u cannot adopt a son.
if you already have a daughter then you cannot adopt another daughter.

if you have son then you can adopt a daughter.
if you have a daughter then you can adopt a son.

as per the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act 1956

PARENTS FROM ANY RELIGION CAN NOT ADOPT.
IF PARENTS ARE HINDUS THEN THEY CAN AND THEN DEMONSTRATION OF LAW BY MR. VIJYANT NIGAM IS RIGHT.
