I had given single room for rent to a bachelor,from past 8months he is not coming to room no response from him,
he has left a bike 2wheeler,
1 -can I use this bike.
2- should I hand over the bike to police
3- can I sell this bike in scrap

Always better to inform the police to avoid unnecessary complications.

Have you done the police verification of the tenant?

From the ownership of the Bike find out his address if no police verification done.

Inform the police to avoid future complication specifically if something suspicious noted.

1. Is it really a legal query or common sense question?
2. As rightly asked by expert Sh. Rajendra K Goyal did you get police verification before handing over possession of demised property to the tenant?
3. How can you use the bike without consent, authority/ permission of the owner? Inform police.
