Affidavit

Outside police station, its written, if complaint not registered approach....list of higher officer and in end, name and address of Human rights commission, I did so, so now, Human rights commission has asked for an affidavit, can any one tell me how to file affidavit or what are the steps in filing affidavit?

for which type of affidavit they were asked from you, kindly tell further details.

There is no specific format of such affidavit. Whatever complaint you want to make before NHRC, make it in the shape of affidavit. You take the services of any typist typing legal documents outside of your nearest court and get it typed and send it as desired.
