Now she want to apply for govt job. Which surname should she use in govt. Job application?
I earnestly request to solve my query and oblize me.

Her original Surname with your Surname can be used means both can be used simultaneously rest it belongs to her because this is not wrong to use the surname of husband after marriage as the same is already shown in the marriage certificate. Some ladies use both surnames.

Although surname change after marriage is common, women have the complete freedom to opt out of it. If she does not want to change her first name or surname after marriage, she does has to. And there’s no law that says she has to adopt her husband’s surname after the marriage.

If she prefers to adopt the surname of husband, she should proceed to get it changed on Voter Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, PAN card, BankAccount and on other documents on the basis of marriage registration certificate.

Dear Mitra,
Since the name is changed after marriage, the application should not be made in maiden name.

Hi
Thank you for your question
She can use any of the surname but according to me as everything has mentioned in her documents apart from school certificate, no question will be asked while applying for job. According to the culture of the society we are used too of it. So, do not need to worry .
Hope this will help you

There is no hard and fast rules in India that a woman has to compulsorily change her maiden name to the name of her husband side after marriage.
She is at liberty to retain her own or maiden name even after marrige.
Even though she has changed her name in all her documents, since the documents pertaining to educational qualifications remain in her maiden alone, she may apply for her job with her maiden name itself.
