Appeal

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 November 2009 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,
After an order has been passed by the Additional Judge, District Court Haryana, to whom shall the party appeal next?
does the appeal lie in the High Court?
it is urgent..
Kiran Kumar (Expert) 09 November 2009
will u pls mention the nature of order or the nature of proceedings?

if the civil appeal has been decided by the District Judge or Addl. District Judge then certainly the Regular Second Appeal will lie before the Hon'ble HC, however it shall contain the substantial question of law.

pls mention the nature of proceedings.

The sole answer to your quarry is -Yes, High Court.

if the order on IA then appeal lies to HC. If it is judgement and decree in Original suit then appeal lies with Dist., Court. If it is second appeal then to HC
