The labour welfare laws such as - Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act and Payment of Bonus Acts etc. are applicable to the employees of management cadre who are not a workmen as defined in Industrial Disputes Act ? All the labour welfare legislations mentioned by you cover employees and not only workmen as defined in Industrial Dispute Act. Wages earned is criteria for coverage of employees under these laws. The employer is under legal obligations to maintain records under these act in respect to all employees whether workmen or managerial staff.riven

It doesn't matter where are employees or workers are employed either in branch office or head office or in working office or in industrial/manufacturing branch. Question is each and every employee/workman is covered under the mentioned welfare legislation.riven

Thanks for the clarifications. However, further query is;
Will all the branch offices at different states, locations required to comply with the requirements or maintaining the compliances such as maintaining register etc. Or compliances at the Head Office where the payroll function is located is sufficient ?

At every branch and office. The enforcement is by state government.
