I am applying for a trademark for the same time. While making an application for trademark, is it beneficial for the trademark owner to obtain the trademark specifically for the particular color, size, finishing (matt/gloss) that we are using. or is it best to keep the description general.
the logo is a picture of a house with people standing in a semi-circle around it and the name of the organization written beside. So i intend to even register the picture without the name and vice versa.
I have prepared the following application. Please comment on the same. Can this be improved.

Application is hereby made for registration in the register of the accompanying trade mark in class 45 in respect of services in the nature of guidance to housing societies in the name of …………………….., a society registered under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act and having registration no. 1. Colour Scheme will be same as visible in the picture above, and also in black and white and in any other colours possible
2. Size will be – all sizes
3. Matt, gloss, embossed, engraved and any other/all kinds of finishing.
4. Only picture, without the name and vice versa
Application is also made to secure the use of the above mark by a similar organization and also by all other kinds of business, professions, federations, organizations, institutions etc and from its representation for any kind of products, services etc

pls note if you have applied for a coloured logo, mark or label with placing exact copy of the same in the TM 1 application no need to worry...pls removed the specification part from your TM 1 as it is not necessary
