Of course, you can file so many cases like this numbering around a dozen altogether in the family court.
Many advocates also advice you to do so as each case involves some amount of money to them. Even if the case is a frivolous one you may win at times. When you increase the number of cases you will become economically and mentally poorer. By that you will be foreclosing your chance to be with him in a married life and you may end up in bringing in many other family troubles, even in the life of the children, as well.
Normally, when a married person dissatisfied in the family matters in some way approaches an advocate and asks a query regarding family case that would normally end up in a case which otherwise would have been solved some other way like third party mediation by the close friends or relatives.
Family court is an institution where all sorts of trickeries of unimaginable nature are taking place. It is a wrong place for any sensible person to go for a decent and genuine litigation, except for consented divorce or legitimate maintenance or something of such sort.
The harassment in the court procedures including indecent attribution of misdeeds during the processes makes one think after its conclusion that it would have been far better to suffer the troubles rather than going there.
Family court is not an institution being maintained as it should have been right now. This is mainly because advocate induced fiery fights are taking place there between parties in ire due to troubled family ties in inconceivable ways.
So you can decide whether you want to go with such number of cases which will make the judge sometimes against you if he is a prudent one. Your RCR and 498A will make the court understand that you are there for a fight with him and not a party coming to the court with clean hands.
When you file RCR you make the court believe that you want to live with your husband with love and affection. But in the 498A case you are indirectly telling the same court that he is a man of extreme cruelty to you. Both of which do not go together and are contradictory.

If you are aggrieved and feel that you have been meted out with cruelties and there is no scope for a compromise with him and no possibility for reconciliation between you both, you may file the DV case seeking residence, protection, maintenance and compensation for the cruelties done against you, besides you can file a RCR case also and lodge a complaint under section 498a IPC and dowry harassment caase also.
You may discuss with your advocate and proceed.
