Sir
I belong to UP I could not tolerate my wife and one day she went after abusing and quarelling with my family members.now I have fear that she may file false case against us under 498a .how can I avoid myself from being suspended from job arrest or jail.also my younger brother not live with us can he drag him also in this 498.I am only earning member so please suggest me how can I protect my job.

It is better to file police complaint with Sr. Policed Inspection in your area stating that she is likely to file false complaint and implicate you/us. This will help you.

You have to wait till FIR is 'registered and then apply for quashing and stay on arrest.

I agree with the expert advice of Mr.Sudhir Kumar. Find out the route cause, rope the elders and find out amicable solution. otherwise, you will be in trouble and have to waste time, money and respect.

WHY DID U TAG UR HEADING AS"BAIL IN 498 A"?
If what U R saying is correct and true try for mediation and counselling.If U fail still and if U fear that UR wife may go after U filing cases,immediately resort to attack on UR inlaws household by filing cases under sections 323/363/504/506/406/452.This is only a precautionary measure.
