your DO is 4.1.85. Correct?
On SSLC certificate it is 4.5.85. correct?
Now you want a birth certificate of a date other than 4.1.85 (i.e. 4.5.85). Correct?
Sorry this forum members generally do not advice how to commit fraud.

By the way please clarify how the wrong date entered in the record. Whether fraud was by teachers or by your parents.

It is not possible to change it now. As you say you have heard about such correction, You can contact local office which noted birth date, if they have developed any procedure for such rectification they may help you.

The correction could be made only in respect of incorrect records, that too, with reference to basic facts. Prima facie, the there was a mistake in the SSLC. You can get it corrected.
First of all, obtain the birth certificate from the Municipality/Panchayat.

As Mr.Venu rightly advised, first you obtain the correct birth certificate from the concerned authorities. This can not be changed as you have taken birth on that day. The other records, wherein wrong date of birth is entered, can be corrected basing on the birth certificate. If you could not get these documents corrected for whatever reason, use only SSLC certificate for all purposes and stick to that date. Hopefully this will not pose any problem later.

The date of birth registered in the birth and deaths register with the concerned authorities is based on the information supplied by the local hospitals/maternity clinics who send the details of the births that took place in their hospitals/clinics on day today basis. This is the relevant and authentic record so changing the same to suit to your needs at your whims and fancies are not allowed by law. It is better to correct the educational records as per the original date of birth certificate issued by the concerned authorities.
