brand new car stolen, recovered badly damaged , want full insurance claim

Dear All,
One of my relative's brand new car was stolen from Chandigarh. The insurance co was informed but rejected the claim as the regn no was showing as recovered in NCRB. Later it was found to be an error.
Now after three months, the car has been found in a Naxal hit area of AP. It has bullet holes in it, and was persumably being used by some criminal elements. The car has been attatched as a case property in the local court in criminal case u/s IPC 307 against the said criminals.
What should we do now, We want insurance company to give us the insured amount as total loss.
Pls help. Cite some case laws where we can look for guidence

If you have filed the complaint in your Local police station , then get the charge shit copy of case of stollen car from police station in chandigarh
Then file the application in Andhra pradesh police station As Recovery of Property with charge shit from chandigad by local lawyer or if you want me then 9892931504 is my number but i am in mumbai so local is best from AP courts , then if pp and judge will accept the property then from AP police station you will get the car as recovered property . All papers of cars and chargshit must be match and no other requirement of car in criminal case is must .
