Hi,
My name is Anil Shivdasan. My Son Vikram Anil worked in THE FIRM, Vashi as an Intern for his 4th Year Project in B.Architecture.
There was an Interview and then a Written Note from HR Head saying a Stipend of Rs.10000 would be paid monthly.
Every month my Son requested the HR and the Bosses to pay the Salary. But this request only fell on deaf ears. They Ignored all his requests and continued to Exploit his services without being paid.
I would like to know what can be done in this Matter ? How should I proceed to address this Act of Corruption on the part of the Employers.
I have been communicating with the HR and even had Personal Talk on the Phone with both the Directors. They are Ignoring all the Calls and Requests and continue to hide behind the HR Person.
I would like to teach the Directors of THE FIRM a Lesson. Please advise me on the best way forward so that we can Recover the Money from them.
Thanks.
Anil Shivdasan

Dear Esteemed Luminaries of Law,
I have been a dedicated member of this site for few years now and am working as a HR Manager. In recent time, I believe that I can contribute constructively to the fraternity by learning law myself. My interactions with the seniors here in this site has been encouraging & invigorating to say the least.
Am now eager to study Law, while I continue to practice the HR profession. I would love to enrol myself as an Advocate in the near future. I missed listening to my dear dad (who is no more) about pursuing law instead of having pursued an MBA. I regret it now but I hope it is not too late.
Considering my need and passion, Can you please advise if
(a) I have the opportunity to study Law & enrol as an Advocate as am 40 years old now
(b) If yes, Will I have flexible options to study regular Law on weekends or few days a week evening courses (since am working as HR manager)
(c) If yes, would you please suggest colleges in Bengaluru
(d) If no for Query b, what alternatives do I have on hand to learn Law and to enrol myself as an Advocate subsequent to passing the qualifiers
Iam an eager learner and I can assure the fraternity that I shall upkeep the values of the profession and its heritage. I need the right guidance to practice and bring forth the best of a Lawyer in me. Hope I can keep the wishes of my dad alive.
can you please help me with a guiding reply
My son is completing law degree from one of the NLU. He has interest in technology law & cyber law. Will you please guide what he should pursue after his graduation ie further study , India or abroad, subject of specialisation or should pursue professional career by joining some law firm or start litigation.
Thanks & regards.
Madan Mohan.

Moot Court Problem
Mr. X & Y were arrested in connection with crime no 123/15 registered by the AB Police station for the offence punishable under section 34 of Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 and under Section 79- 80 Karnataka Police Act 1963 & read with section N D P S Act, 1985, Mr. X& Y, were released on bail by the I. ACCM, Bangalore. Investigation of the case has not been completed & final report under section 173 of CrPC has not been submitted.
After granting bail to Mr. X& Y, The I ACCM, Bengaluru adjourned the case to 1.1.2016. On that day, Mr. X & Y, who are the permanent resident of Maharashtra, did not appear before the I ACCM; Bengaluru After noticing the absence of Mr. X & Y (Accused no 1&2). The Trial court issued Non-bail able Arrest warrant to secure and produce them before the court on the next date of hearing on 2.5.2016
The Accused 1& 2 (X & Y) have challenged the order of NBW by filing the criminal petition no 114/2016 before the Hon’able High Court of Karnataka on the following grounds.
1. The Accused No 1& 2 need not appear before the I ACCM, Bangalore, before submission of charge sheet and before cognizance is taken and process is issued. Hence, issue of NBW is in violation and Article 21 of COI.
2. The state Public Prosecutor contends that as there is reasonable ground to proceed against Accused 1 & 2, they must appear before the Court even after bail granted on certain conditions.
[Note: The students must keep in mind the provision of section 154 & 173 (2) of CrPC]
[NDPS Act 1985, the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substance Act]
Draft Memorial and argue the Matter either on behalf of the Accused or Prosecution.
