attendance in panchayat meetings

i thank everyone who had replied to my earlier query on whether an MLA can attend a Pqanchayat meeting uninvited. But , i wanted more onformation. what is the legal basis which permits him to attend the meetings of a Panchayat within his constituency, even though he happens NOT TO BE MEMBER of the said Panchayat. Can the other elected Members of the Panchayat object to his attendance in the meetings of the Panchayat? Do they have any legal authority to take action or propose action against the MLA? i shall be grateful if the legal position is given

Freedom struggle

One Pleader M.P. Narayana Menon, who was practising in Perinthalmanna, in Kerala was sent to Andaman Prison after his involment in a rebellion in Malabar in 1921, then it was a province in Madras. Later on the struggle was declared as freedom movement by govt. of India . He was brought to Madras and he himself argued his case before the Hon'ble judges of Madras High Court, mostly British natives. The case was reported in M.L.J Vol .75 (subject to correction). Can any one help me to get the full text of the report.

Hi All, am new for this forum & need help and guidance.

I live in bangalore.

Yesterday evening I and my girlfriend were walking down the street in Vijaynagar (service road, parallel to main road) holding hands. Suddenly PC(Police constable) stopped us & started to scold us very badly using filthy words. He took both of our phone numbers. Then he made me to sit in his bike and said that he will take me to police station & put some case on me!!! I was afraid & sat in his bike. After riding 1km from the destination.. he asked me for money. I said I have only 100 rupees. so he stopped the bike there & took money & went.

Pls help me. What should I do if samething repeats again. How to handle the situation???
