Hi Friends,
A proprietorship firm is already owning an S & E certificate. It now wants to close the firm and open a pvt. ltd. co. Does it need to get a fresh S & E cert or can it transfer the old one existing in the name of the firm in favour of the company.
Does the firm need to be converted into a pvt. co for this purpose ?
Pls offer your comments.
Thanks & Rgds,
Jaydeep Kurup.
What is the procedure of apponting Special Executive officer in maharashtra and his duties and responsiblities?
My mother is the only child of my late grandparents. My mother is the only legal heir and has inherited my grandparents property (a house). The inherited property documents are still in my grandparents name, but Property Tax and Water tax are paid in my mother's name.
My mother has 3 daughters and 2 sons (including myself).
The question is:
1. Is my mother the 100% legal heir of my grandparents, or we grand children's also legal heirs?
2. I found in the Inheritance law stating Class I, Class II etc. It states the heirs listed in Class I are first entitled to enjoy the inherited property, and secondly the heirs listed in Class II and so on. If so, can my mother alone enjoy the 100% ownership of the inherited property by the virtue of being part of Class I?
3. What are the rights of my mother and my mother's children in the property inherited by my mother?
4. Can my mother write a will of the inherited property as she wants, without giving us (my mothers children's) any share?
5.
a) Can my mother sell her inherited property without our (my mother's children's) consent?
b) If so, will the sale be legal?
c) Can anyone of us (my mother's children's) claim a share in the sale proceeds?

The Supreme Court of India has given in its website the format for a writ petition for mandamus under article 226 of the constitution of India. Is the same format to be used for a writ petition to be made to the Bombay High Court ?
What is the relative advantage of making the writ petition to the High Court as compared to making it to the Supreme Court ?
Can we appeal to the Supreme Court on the High Courts decision on our writ petition ?
Hello Sir/Mam,
Would need your advise I am 25 year old and working as an Assistant Manager in a Top BPO and the girl whom I intend to marry is 29 and works in the same office but in a different deaprtment. Our problem is taht Girl's parent are AGARWAL and I belong to OBEROI family though Completly HINDU. Her parents will not agree to our marriage in any scenario coz of our age difference and me not belonging to Aggarwal/Agarwal community. I need your advise what should we do, shall we go for a court marriage if yes than what is the process or shall we go for marriage in ARYA SAMAJ under Hindu Marriage Act than go to register our marriage in New Delhi. Also wanted to confirm if it is Manadtory to register the marriage to make it legal. Both of us LOve each other and are ready to live our life together. My Mother also also loves her and really likes her. Girl is also aware of my age and everyhing about me, there are no secrets between us. We have a Great Understanding and wants to get marry as soon as possible.
Would really appreciate if some lawyer can get in touch with us to help in this matter. We are ready to pay the required fees/charges. Also if you could let us know which is better option COURT MARRIAGE or ARYA SAMAJ?
