Can a civil case affect in any govt. job

(Querist) 12 March 2016 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
Recently I received an offer letter of appointment from a govt. company and one attestation form attached with it. But the problem is that one civil property case is pending against me and recently the plaintiff also expired.
So, I have a doubt with a question in the attestation form i.e
"Is any case pending against you in any court of law at the time of filling up this attestation from?" Yes/No

Therefore, I request you please suggest me that what should be my answer? and if my answer is Yes then this civil case can affect in my joining.
Thank you

PROPERTY CASE DOE S NOT EFFECT SERVICE.

BE SURE IT IS NOT A CRIMINAL CASE (i.e. FIR no ____ dt ____ thana ____)

Civil suit does not involve crime involving moral turpitude and hence the same has no damaging effect on fresh job.

Thank you sir for reply me. But I want to clear that in that case what I should maintain in the question of attestation form (yes/No) i.e.

"Is any case pending against you in any court of law at the time of filling up this attestation from?" Yes/No

And if I mark No then is it any problem.

some persons are unfortunate that they face a problem

some persons are unfortunate they do not have a problem but they create.

some persons are more unfortunate that they neither have a problem nor they can create so they have to imagine and assume a problem.

so you have to decide you wan to be which category.
