Can I ask ownership of other people's properties by RTI ??

Can I ask Govt. to supply me the info of properties, which do not belong to me anyhow ?

Like who is the allottee of a particular flat,who sold it to whom and when it was sold, when it was bought.


Please Guide me.

No you can not ask any third party's information if he is private individual unless he consents for the same.

Yes, you can ask any information whether it relates to first party, second party or third party. But before giving information on third party, the PIO would seek the consent of the third party. If the third party refuses consent, then the PIO would reject your request.
