hi have normaly 100 day rent agreement zerox copy,on monday I am asking him to registration of rent agreement
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 15 December 2014
Yes based on the copy of the rental agreement in his possession, the tenant can apply for reconnection by paying the arrears/balance of payment to the electricity board and get connected once again, the owner cannot deny the tenant the basic amenity. The owner's grievance that the tenant is not vacating can find relief only through court of law by following due process of law for eviction and not this way adopting harassment tactics.
