Groom went and seen the girl at that time she was wearing saree groom assumed that she was height enough to marrie . The before day of engagement they went to shoping and he finally found that she is too small when compared to his height . Then he called to his brother said the thing they balckmailed him and sai we all committe to sucide if you not attend the engagement.groom attend the engagement he can’t convince himself he is in deep depression he dont want marrie her . What is the solution

He can inform his parents to contact the girl's family and inform them about your decision to cancel the marriage proposal.
A legal notice also can be given to communicate your decision to cancel the marriage proposal for the reasons you may rely upon and undertake to reimburse the expenses they incurred towards the engagement in order to avoid them who may try to falsely implicate you in a dowry harassment case.

Only the engagement was done but now you can directly tell to the parents of the bride to cancel the marriage. The groom shall pay the amount spent for the engagement.
