Case against a lawyer

I have been told that it is impossible to win a case against a lawyer even if the lawyer has cheated someone by taking the fees but not completed the matter.
Judges do not pass orders against lawyers.
Is that true?

Apart From your Fees Matters there are so many cases against Lawyers both in Civil and Criminal sides in Courts.Law is Common to All Irrespective of their Status.

You have been wrongly 'TOLD'. Law is equal for one and all. You haven't placed full facts i.e. whether you have given the fee via cheque or otherwise, whether the terms and conditions for engagement were in writing and so on, as such it won't be possible to respond to your question. Check the 'Vakalatnama' signed by you and it would clarify a number of things.

Come out with the actual facts,lawyers and judges are not above law when they have flouted the Advocates Act 1961 and the Judiciary.There are several instances of Judges and lawyers being put behind bars for the criminal acts committed.
Go through the Gali Janardhana Reddy bail case.
Hence if U have valid evidences U can certainly proceed against the lawyer in the Bar Council.

1. Incomplete facts cannot lead to provide "FREE" legal expert advise.
2. No one (including the advocate(s) and judges) is above law, if you have sufficient will power, time, energy, efforts in right direction to prosecute the offender, evidences and sincere,loyal,faithful lawyer to advise, guide and proceed as per law.
