i m student passed 12 class from cbse board examination. i want to change my surname from 10 and 12 board marksheet.
- how can i change surname from my marksheet and what documents will be required to make this change ???????????????

You have to swear an affidavit before the 1st class magistrate and then to publish in the local mews paper in that direction. You only need to carry the original school documents with you. Consult a local lawyer.

names in the certificates issued earlier will not be changed.

however after notifying the change in name in the state gazette,by keeping a copy of the notification with earlier certificates,you can claim the new name/surname.
