Change of date of birth

1. My actual date of birth - 12.10.1962
2. In my school records my date of birth is posted as - 21.05.1960
3. I have taken Certificate for original date of birth certificate from Commissioner, Births & Death, Warangal in the year 1988.
4. I have passed my SSC (X) in
March, 1977.
5. I have joined in SCCL as clerk on 25.08.1989 ( actual age : 27 Yrs )

At present I willing to change my date of birth in my service records as 12.10.1962.
Whether it is possible or not. please guide me.

Yes. You will have to obtain declaration from a civil court regarding the actual date of birth.

Yes it is possible. You must apply for this with birth certificate and affidavit.

No. You cannot do it now. Moreover civil courts do not have jurisdiction to grant such a declaration. You have to approach only the Administrative Tribunal in your state for such a relief.

You can not. Birth date mentioned in school certifcate shall prevail.
