chief medical officer of a multinational company should be under company safety officer or not? please advice.

Please discuss your real problem, mention who is senior in status, the cmo or the safety officer, and also what are the prescribed functions and responsibilities of the safety officer in the mnc?

Respected PS Dhingra sir,
CMO is senior in status.prescribed functions and responsibilities of safety officer is to take care of safety measure during machine operations and to ensure prevention of company accident.

When CMO is senior to the safety officer, the matter becomes quite clear that a senior cannot be put under the constrol of any junior in rank & status. Moreover, duties and responsibilities of the safety officer, do not indicate any relation with the health issues of the employees.

Company rules / directives / appointment conditions should be referred for deciding seniority. In the given facts nature of duties are different, the dispute of seniority is immaterial among unrelated employees / officials.
