Co-operrative society law

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 08 March 2024 This query is : Resolved
I would like to know : -
whether the society can overrule the court order [contempt of court] and deny to issue 2 share certificates? -
what is the remedy available to me, if the society does not issue 2 share certificates inspite of court order, -
whether the society can charge transfer fees in the said case?
I would be grateful if you can help me in the matter.

Your query is not clear. What is the case of contempt of court? Why 2 share certificates? What are the terms and conditions of the society? When a transfer is made, the transfer fees may be paid up to a maximum of Rs.25,000/-.

Do you have the impugned court order in this regard.
If so, you give a legal notice by enclosing a copy of the notice to the society and make a demand for complying with the relief as ordered by court.
If the association is not responding or fails to comply with the demands made, you may approach court with an execution petition to execute the court order.

If the court has passed an order as what you state here then nothing prevents you from taking legal action against the society as per the court order
