(Querist) 13 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
I am not a corporate lawyer, but in law college i had come across with phrase "lifting the veil of a company" meaning thereby under certain circumstances the veil of company can be lifted and the directors of the company can be dealt with, which are those circumstances? will any expert guide me in this regard?

Companies Act contain the circumstances. You just need to read your classroom modules carefully.

Dear Experts, I was under impression that this is forum in which you can ask your queries and the queries may be academic also, at the beginning of my query I had made it specifically clear that I am not 'corporate lawyer'I am practicing at District Court level in Sindhudurg Dist. of Maharshtra and we don't have such sort of work over here, but in one my civil suit such situation has arisen, as i don't have much material in my hand I preferred to use this forum, all the answers of any queries can be found in books, that much I can understand after 15 years of practice, if you 'experts' don't know the answer then keep mum, why do you give answers which are of no use? At least anybody can expect this much decency from the public forum. I was seeking answer to my query and not the advice, the experience is very disgusting for any young lawyer, who always seeks guidance from senior lawyers.
ajay sethi (Expert) 13 October 2013
it is unanimous decision taklen by experts not to answer academic queries .
Veeresh Naik (Querist) 13 October 2013
Dear Mr. Sethi, If it is so then we have to accept the same, but is it proper to give answers like 'read the book' etc. by more then one expert, if one expert has given answer like that then why the other follow the same just to the increase the points or what?

u said ""if you 'experts' don't know the answer then keep mum,""

Pl note: This is not a reaching college or forum

We help needy persons who cannot afford Lawyers, and in need of Legal advise.

We try to reply only those who are in need for solving their personal legal problem.

I m sure, this is not your personal problem. You want to earn out of our knowledge!!AND ALSO ASKING US TO KEEP MUM!!GREAT???

and certifying we have knowledge of what u ask,,Only because we did not reply your Query..

There are lots of people, who ask us Query to double cross their Advocate/ or get free legal advise for their commercial motive to make money, or ask questions as if they are accused, but in fact they are complainant, and want to know , how accused will reacty, and so on,
And take disadvantage of this purely LEGAL FREE SERVICE TO NEEDY DESERVING PERSONS..

WE WILL NOT KEEP MUM, AND CERTAINLY REPLY THE WAY WE MAJORITY OF EXPERTS JOINTLY DECIDED:
YOUR ASKING US TO KEEP MUM HAVE NO MEANING AT ALL./.. YOU BETTER DON'T ASK ANY QUERY TO US, IF U R NOT SATISFIED..

BEING A ADVOCATE FOR 15 YRS PRACTICE MUST KNOW, FROM WHERE TO GET SUCH INFORMATION: AND CERTAINLY NOT FREE : AS U R GOING TO MAKE PROFIT OUT OF IT.. NOT WE...

DON'T REPLY OR ADVISE EXPERTS IN THIS MANNER, BEING A ADVOCATE..

Above Experts had rightly advised you to read relevant book.In fact you read it to pass your Company Law Subject in LL.B.

Our Experts correctly advised you , to avoid any further repeat of such OR SIMILAR ACADEMIC QUERY BY YOU OR OTHER MEMBERS.

Mr. Nayak,

Had you discussed your real problem, as you would have felt, instead of posting a classroom type academic query, the experts would have readily replied your query.

But I see, you expect decency from others, but probably lack in knowledge how to address those from whom you want any help.

I heartily welcome your statement, "At least anybody can expect this much decency from the public forum." BUT, do you think, the following type of your direction to the experts to keep mum, reveals any decency on your part?

"If you 'experts' don't know the answer then keep mum, WHY do you give answers which are of no use?"

I wish, you would not have been addressing judges also with such type of indecent language!

However, about your remarks, "WHY do you give answers," if you can feel free to post your query, anyone can post his answer, as he likes, when the question is not in a proper form. Mind it, you can't order anyone to keep mum. BY THE WAY, how would you have felt had someone directed you not to post your queries at LCI?

The experts mostly welcome the lawyer brethren to solve their tangle in the cases of their clients, but when they discuss the real problems.

do not give orders to experts on free site.

do something at ur own.
Veeresh Naik (Querist) 13 October 2013
Sorry Mr. Shroff and Mr. Dhingra, with due respect to you Sir/s, you both are not getting my point, i used the words only out of anger as first expert had already answered that you do not entertain such sorts of query, i kept mum. My anger is only that there was no need to others give answers like read this and that.Secondly, when we our self have enrolled as an Expert, then we should not count the money which would be earned by beneficiary, I don't want to argue with you Experts, but only explaining the situation so that I should not be sound as 'arrogant' which in my personal life not. Anyway I express my apology and give thanks to all experts, as they are doing this noble work very decently and sincerely and also expect that they should try to understand the feelings of other inexpert lawyers like me. Also thanks to Mr. Rajendra Goyal.
R.K Nanda (Expert) 13 October 2013
it is ok and ur welcome also.
Guest (Expert) 13 October 2013
It is ok, but nobody would like to relish your anger or arrogance to enrich you with their own knowledge and experience. You should be sober if you really want help of other experts in their relative fields.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 13 October 2013
Next time, just post ur problem, that in one of my case, i need guidance.
Being brother Advocate, we will certainly help you out.

You may also use PM Personal Message, so that public will not know what u asked, and what we suggested you.

Ignorance are with every-one. We experts have Limitation to expose in Public_ Right? So ask in confidence.

And at all cost : Observe strict discipline:, Do not throw mud on each other! At least we Advocates!!

Please keep in mind, that for various reasons affecting Experts and LCI, and Querist, We decided jointly not to reply Anonymous Query, Academic and commercial Query etc.. It is necessary to have this site Prestigious, Pl do not reply in anger.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: THE WHOLE WORLD READ IT AT ANY TIME- LIFETIME. SO BE VERY RESPONSIBLE, FOR YOUR STATEMENTS.. ..
