respected Sir,
Pls suggest me how can i register a complaint against a company in consumer court. Should i pay any fee there? What is the procedure? Importantly, Should anyone need a lawyer or advocate to file case or anybody can file on its own.
Pls suggest me of this query ASAP pls.

Better engage an advocate as it requires specialisation in the matter.
If you want to proceed it on your own then meet the consume forum and seek information from its staff about its procedure.

As Expert Devajyoti Barman pointed out, sice the consumer foras are following civil court procedures, it is a bit difficult for a common man to fight a case in person. However, please note that if the claim is less than Rs20 lakhs[including interest and compensation for mental agony], you will have to file case in a consumer forum which has got jurisdiction of the head office of the company or the branch where you entered into business with company.

You will have file 4 copies of complaint in court in legal size paper.You will have to file connected documents also in the same manner

I too agree with the experts o this issue. For filing a complaint before a consumer forum, you don't require an advocate to file it for you, you can do it yourself but for drafting the pleadings properly, an advocate's assistance may help you to approach the issue properly.
