Continue on previous bail

Is there any provision for " Continue on Previous Bail",which generally court requires at the time of appearence of the accused after getting Summon from the court???Is that necessary where at that time of bail one of the condition is to appear on each date??

when an accused appears before a court after receiving summons, he must go on bail; but if he was arrested during investigation and was released on bail, court shall allow him to remain on his previous bail. But if he was arrested in a bailable case and released on bail by police, he must go on fresh bail at the time of his first appearence
