Correction in surname in birth certificate

Hello Sir
My name in birth certificate is Davinder Kumar but in all my other certificates(educational) my name is Davinder.
So pls advice me how i can remove surname from my birth certificate.
i'm from ambala (Haryana)India.

Not possible. But if there is any need or problem due to this, you can get an affidavit attested for that purpose.

My D.O.B is 03/06/1993
I'm applying for passport so they need birth certificate..Is there not any chance to correct name in birth certificate so i can apply for passport or an affidavit attested is enough for applying passport.

You can submit affidavit to the passport authority on prescribed format.
