COST OF INDEX FOR FY 2009-1010(AY 2010-2011)

Could someone apprise me on the Cost Of Index for AY 2010-2011 so that the tax liability can be correctly calculated for LTCG under Sec 54F.Thank you.

Cost Inflation Index for FY 2009-10 is 682.

Notified vide Notification no 67/2009 dated 9-9-2009.

Cost Inflation for Assessment Year 2010-2011 is 632. For the purpose of availing benefit under section 54F net consideration has to be invested.
