Court order in respect of name change

(Querist) 09 October 2012 This query is : Resolved 
I am a teacher in KVS.i've changed my name by Gazzette notification n published it in 2 newspapers.now i applied in my department to change my name from R M saini to A K Saini.they asked me to give an affidavit,news paper cutting and Court Order.i asked my advocate friend abt this.he sait that Civil Court does not issue any order.i want to know abt this and the Process through which i can get a court order for name change.i shall be grateful to Lawyers club india

affidavit along with gazette notification should suffice

Gazette notification is published by State Govt. It is having authenticity and there is no need of Court Order for this.
