Inter state sale of goods to govt. attracts concessional Cst @ 3% or State sales tax whichever is lower.

Is the statement TRUE???

from 01.04.2007 there is an amendment in in section 8(1) that, sale to government department against form 'D' declration has been removed and presently it is taxable at the rate of local rate of tax (same as without form'c)

if government is eligible to issue form'c' it will be 3% or local rate of tax w.e.l
