Dda mutation

(Querist) 03 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

Could some one tell that whether the Installments amount or at least the penalties/interest could be waived off if there are any installments pending in DDA against house allotted (the owner has died) while going for Mutation process?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Anirudh (Expert) 03 October 2013
Neither the instalment, nor the penalty/interest would be waived by DDA. Death of the owner cannot be the justification for such waiver.

agree with anirudh
R.K Nanda (Expert) 03 October 2013
cannot be waived.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 03 October 2013
Can not be waived.

Such demand cannot be made as a matter of legal right but if some sympathy is shown for further arrangement of installments then should be got availed.
