Delayed fir registration

(Querist) 28 September 2024 This query is : Resolved
My friend met with trespass and thereby unlawful possession, phsical attack, damgeto bike etc. Police responded to 100 and arrived crime scene. Collected. evidences and did enquiry. Asked to come next day for complaint submission. But called him for continuous 10 ddays. He went to DsP,so and finally to DIG. After that FIR was registered with 45 days delay. Mainly Any legal remedy for this? The inspector to be taken into task
Now charge sheet filed for the crimes. Doubting that prosecution will collude with accused.

You cannot take any action against the police for delayed action in this regard.
You will not get any support from police side nor the court will entertain any private complaint in this regard.
at your mercy (Querist) 29 September 2024
therefore no remedy for police's inetional delay of registration of FIR. hence you can not even start criminal case first as it is at the hands of police and at its mercy. here is the difference between India and developed countries with regard justice system. a police state supported by judiciary ?! then it appears no use of judiciary sysyem. Instead bribe the police heavily and resolve the issues, it is wiser to avoid litigation charges." when you are in Rome, do as Romans do"

@ At your (or my) mercy,
What do mean by the term used in the post, inter alia,
"...met with trespass'''
further you have mentioned
"....and thereby unlawful possession;;;"
subsequently stated to have been
"....physical attack damaged to bike etc...."

Is it a true or concocted and fabricated story ???
at your mercy (Querist) 29 September 2024
Dear Dr. Varsha. It is absolutely true. The innocent guy finally met DIG and FIR was registered .Then after meeting IG ,chatgesheet filed. But accused now well settled inside the victims house with threatening victim. Police is in full support to him. Victim is advised by them to sell.
It is can send all details to personal email or whatsapp

Is it your own case or your friend's case?
There are many legal avenues open before him.
You can support him only till certain extent, he only has to initiate proper action and fight against injustice meted to him.

You can properly advise him and in case of necessity let him come out with his own query instead of gathering information indirectly through a third person.

Admittedly, you have no personal knowledge of the matter. No meaningful suggestion can be given based on hearsay information.
