Dependent for cghs

I m working in psu.. i want to know whether can i add my grandmother as a dependent for availing health benefits under CGHS ? Her income is nil. My dad expired. My mom is getting 15k monthly pension.

As your father has died you can add the name of your grandmother as your dependent if she is not a pensioner or an earning member.

Whether there is any other living sibling of your deceased father to look after/ take care of your grandmother ?
She is not a dependant on you and can not be included in providing CGHS facilities through your job.

PSU employees, to my knowledge, are not covered by the CGHS. How come, as a PSU employee, you are availing the CGHS benefit?

Any how, the eligibility for family members is the same as that under CS(MA) Rules wherein the grandparents are not included in the definition of family.
