Dear Forum Members!
What is the difference Between Foster Child
and the Adopted child? I mean who is called
Foster Child and who is called Adopted Child?

Fosterage, the practice of a family bringing up a child not their own, differs from adoption in that the child's genetic parents, not the foster-parents, remain the acknowledged parents. In many modern western societies foster care can be organised by the state to care for children with troubled family backgrounds, usually on a temporary basis. In many pre-modern societies fosterage was a form of patronage, whereby influential families cemented political relationships by bringing up each other's children, similar to arranged marriages, also based on dynastic or alliance calculations.
Adoption is the practice in which an adult assumes the role of parent for a child who is not the adult's biological offspring. The process usually involves some legal paperwork.The ancient practice of adoption was a way of ensuring male heirs to childless couples in order to preserve family lines and religious traditions. In the 1850s the Children's Aid Society of New York City began to move dependent children out of city institutions. Between 1854 and 1904 orphan trains carried an estimated 100,000 children to families on farms in the Midwest; these children were to provide farm work in exchange for care.

The adopted child will have parent’s last name. The child will inherit from them and entitle to the share as other legal heirs. Foster son have no such rights. A child without parental support and protection, placed with a person or family to be cared for, usually by local welfare service or by court order. The foster parents do not have custody, nor is there an adoption, but they are expected to treat the foster child as their own in regard to food, housing, clothing and education. Most foster parents are paid by sate or other agencies.
